Other duties include the following:* Executing pre-filtering handset software functionality based on spec, verification on design during the development life cycle, and performing analysis on post-production issues.* Checking mobile phone functionalities as expected including BREW, WAP, Browser, UI applications, etc., and check repeated reported problems* Communicating and collaborating with R&D, Human Interface, Production Management, and other internally related departments, and also with the external client company*s technical personnel.Requirements: BS degree in CS or similar preferred; prior internships preferred in embedded systems programming: CDMA protocol, Call Processing, Data Services (especially EV-DO technology), BREW porting, Browser porting, Java porting, Push To Talk technologies, Generic User Interface, Short Message Service (SMS) , Expanded Memory Specification (EMS) /Multi Media Messaging (MMS), Call Manager and device drivers. Prior skills in programming in C language is a plus. Minimum 0 - 6 years experience with CDMA Handset S/W testing/verification/development. Possess strong ties within the CDMA Handset Industry highly desired. Ability to work both remotely and within a group of engineers is necessary.
