This includes government agencies, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and health delivery networks, insurance providers and, of course, the diverse business divisions of UnitedHealth Group.   Position Description: Ingenix Government Program Integrity requires the services of an experienced analytical programmer with at least 3 years of advanced SAS and SQL programming experience and RDMS experience.  This programmer will work in a dynamic, fast paced environment to support fraud detection and special project analyses designed to find fraud, abuse, or misuse of health care services.  This position requires exceptional attention to detail, extensive experience using the SAS macro language, experience using SAS in conjunction with a RDMS, such as Oracle or DB2.  Highly desirable are candidates with previous experience using health care claims data for fraud detection or utilization management analyses, especially such experience within a United Health Group company.  Develop, code, test, and validate programming code.   Primary Responsibilities: Perform quality assurance review of programming code prepared by othersDevelop databases, extracts, and reports for key efforts and initiativesReview deliverables before transfer to either internal or external clientsDevelop and review technical documentationCommunicate to management on project status and resource issuesParticipates in the development of and ensures compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and guidelinesRemain informed of new developments in programming that are relevant to the industry and contribute to the innovation of new reporting systems Bring your talent to an industry leader with the information, technology, and consulting expertise to help transform health and human services.
